The footballing spotlight, and the BBC cameras, return to the FA Cup Wednesday evening as Huddersfield Town travel to the Etihad Stadium to take on the might of Manchester City in a fifth round replay.
The first clash, just under two weeks ago, ended in a scoreless draw, continuing a theme, with both teams yet to concede a goal in their respective FA Cup runs this season.
That suggests another tight game with few scoring chances, right? Well, maybe!
Both sides will have their eyes on other prizes. Huddersfield are in the middle of a promotion battle, and host Championship leaders Newcastle on Saturday. Manchester City still have designs on the Premier League (or more likely a top four spot as Chelsea show no signs of slipping up) and the Champions League.
Changes are likely to both sides, and Manchester City surely has the stronger overall squad.
Also, while Huddesfield were involved in a combative Yorkshire derby against Barnsley last weekend, City were relaxing in the warmth of Abu Dhabi as their league clash with Manchester United was postponed, with their rivals at Wembley for the League Cup final.
Both sides would fancy a crack at Middlesbrough in the next round, but with Chelsea drawn against Manchester United, Pep Guardiola could well see this competition as his best chance of silverware in his first year in charge at the Etihad.
So how to take advantage of this?
With the exact makeup of the teams unlikely to be known until an hour before kickoff, it may be worth keeping your powder dry until then as far as first/last goalscorer bets are concerned. But for those who fancy an early strike, and with Man City around 1/7 to win, Paddy Power are top priced at 9/1 for a 4-0 City victory.
For those of a more adventurous bent, the same bookmaker offers 20/1 that there will be more than 3.5 goals, 10.5 corners and 4.5 bookings.
This would require an open game, and comments from Huddersfield’s manager David Wagner suggest that may well be the case.
To play this game, with this good run we are on, in a different competition, gives you a special feeling for this game because you can really play with freedom.
Recommendation: Manchester City to win 4-0 at 9/1 Paddy Power
