The Florida swing of the PGA Tour continues this week, with the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill.
Australian Jason Day returns to defend his title, and a selection of the world’s elite join him in teeing up.
It’s difficult to see Day winning this week. He hasn’t played since the Genesis Open in the middle of February and will probably need an outing or two to shake off the rust.
The Lap of The Odds money will be on Henrik Stenson. The Swede has an impressive record around the Bay Hill course, not finishing out of the top ten the last four times he has played this event. Stenson is widely available at 8/1.
For those who prefer an each-way flutter at bigger odds, it may be worth keeping an eye on big-hitting Tony Finau.
Palmer thinned out the rough on this course a few years ago. This helps those who give it a lash off the tee as there is little premium on accuracy. There are very few that hit the ball further than Finau, and at 50/1 he could be worth considering.
Recommendation: Stenson to win at 8/1, and Finau each-way at 50/1
