Saturday’s evening Premier League clash sees Manchester City travel to the south coast to take on Southampton.
A victory for City will see them climb to third in the league, a more secure position in the race to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
However, City will not find it in easy. They have won only one of their last five visits to St. Mary’s Stadium, and were beaten heavily in this fixture last season.
On top of this, the players may have other things on their minds given their next two matches are a FA Cup semi-final against Arsenal and then the Manchester derby.
Southampton can bring back striker Manolo Gabbiadini after a groin injury, and he will offer a threat to a City back line which has looked less than secure this season.
City will start as clear favourites, but the 3/1 widely available on Southampton causing sufficient problems to result in a draw seems to offer some value.
Recommendation: Southampton to draw with Man City at 3/1, widely available
