Cheltenham: Aspell to get a tune out of The Organist.

The second of two days at jumping’s HQ has a distinctly feminine touch with the opening races being restricted to the fairer sex.

The third of those races (1515 BST) pits those who avoided the Festival, notably Snow Leopardess and Carnspindle against a number who contested the Festival Mares event.

The handicapper appears to have had his say with those that have been winning in shallower waters – indeed favourite Snow Leopardess has a 12lb rise to overcome. We prefer the Festival form.

Indian Stream ran a blinder there, leading home the UK contingent behind Irish girl group, Apples Jade, Vroum Vroum Mag and Limini.  She has top weight though as a result.

Midnight Tour is probably the one weighted to do best from that Cheltenham race, but we like The Organist.  She was 7th at Cheltenham, showing her first return to form this season having disliked a tilt at chasing.

She would have trotted up on this card last year but for a last flight fall and this strongly built mare needs only improve a fraction on that festival run to make her looks a very big price here.  Top class veteran Leighton Aspell takes the ride, and he will know her well from her homework.

Recommendation:  The Organist (1515 Cheltenham), each way, 14/1
