There is a shortened Premier League program this Saturday, with the FA Cup semi-finals taking priority. That said, one bet cries out to be backed, and it involves the Hull vs Watford clash.
Hull may have suffered more away day blues at Stoke last weekend, but they now return to the relative fortress of the KCOM Stadium. Their record in 2017 reads an impressive seven wins and one draw from eight games.
Watford are Saturday’s visitors, and they are on an impressive run of form, nine points from their last four games seeing them to the relative safety of 40 points. The Hornets won their last visit to Hull in the league, but have never won back-to-back away league fixtures against these opponents.
All that said, the bet doesn’t involve the result, instead it concerns new goal scoring centre half Harry Maguire. The Englishman has netted in his last two matches, having only scored twice in his previous 93 league outings. He can be backed at the lofty price of 13/1 with Paddy Power to score at anytime during the match and continue this run.
The bookmakers are not in accord with the pricing of this event, with some going as low as 11/2, but the Paddy Power price is definitely an outlier. Get aboard.
