Boom!: Opera no tragedy for subscribers

Well we may have missed the month of gravy that has been the form of Jessica Harrington and Robbie Power, but we at least arrived in time to lick the gravy boat.

Woodlands Opera, in the hands of Power, hung on grimly at Punchestown when defeat loomed large, their brave effort rewarding Lap Of The Odds subscribers who were advised to get on at the early 9/2. (Punchestown Day 4: Opera Win Three?).

Our Champion Hurdle hope Petit Mouchoir is a non-runner, but we started what we expect to be a fruitful John Gosden-themed flat season with an impressive win for Eldritch, also advised in this morning’s post at 3/1, albeit there was a small deduction for non-runners.

That made for a near 20/1 double for those brave enough to link the two.

April is finishing well.  Stay tuned.
