Premier League leaders Chelsea travel to Goodison Park to take on Everton, hoping to put the pressure on title rivals Spurs ahead of the North London derby.
Many would see the Toffees as the toughest assignment for Chelsea in their run in, and there’s no doubt the home side are in form. Everton have won eight consecutive games at home in the league, their best run for 28 years, and have won out of their last 10 home games versus today’s opponents.
However, Chelsea are also on a roll, and have only lost three from their last 28 games. In Antonio Conte they have a manager who knows the art of winning, and his team can see the finishing line.
In difficult circumstances Conte will be looking for his star players to rise to the occasion. And we at Lap of the Odds think this means Eden Hazard. We will be taking some of the 5/1 with Paddy Power that the Belgian midfielder wins the man of the match award.
Recommendation: Hazard to win man of the match award at 5/1, Paddy Power
