Premier League: Siggy, Siggy, Siggy…

Saturday’s late game in the Premier League sees Everton travel to relegation threatened Swansea.

The Toffees are flying high in the league, currently positioned in seventh, while the home side are two points from safety in 18th place. This would tend to suggest an away win, especially as Swansea have never won a home league game against Everton.

However, Swansea may never have a better time to play Everton. The visitors have clinched a place in Europe for next season, and looked listless in their last match, a 3-0 home defeat by Chelsea. It’s debatable how much more they have to play for. The home team, by contrast, have their Premier League lives to maintain.

We at Lap of the Odds look for the Swans to get something out of this game, and will look for their Icelandic playmaker Gylfi Sigurdsson to impress, with a man of the match performance.

Recommendation: Sigurdsson to win man of the match at 11/2, Paddy Power
