This afternoon’s late game in the IPL sees Gujarat Lions travel to Mohali to take on the Kings XI Punjab.
These teams will approach today’s game with different mindsets. The home side have 10 points with just four games left to play, and winning three of these four matches should ensure qualification for the playoffs. Gujarat, by contrast, can no longer qualify.
The Lions have suffered from injuries, with Kiwi star Brendon McCullum the latest to bow out of the tournament. While, the Kings XI are also missing South African all rounder Marcus Stoinis, they start the match as clear favourites.
