The second leg of the first Champions League semifinal kicks off tonight, with Monaco having it all to do.
The French champions trail Juventus 2-0 after the first home leg, and now hope to achieve what has never been done before in the competition – qualifying from two goals down after the home leg!
Aside from this, Juventus have won all 11 knockout ties against French opponents, and Monaco have never won a game in Italy despite seven attempts.
Given all this, it’s difficult to see Monaco ending Juventus’s four-year unbeaten home record in Europe, particularly after the Italian giants controlled the first leg.
Juventus have now kept six successive clean sheets in the competition, and we at Lap of the Odds expect them to keep another. The 2/1 available on the home team winning to nil appeals, but we will take a punt on another 2-0 win for the Old Lady.
Recommendation: Juventus to win 2-0 at 8/1, William Hill
