Crystal Palace host Hull in the early afternoon clash Sunday, with Premier League survival on offer.
Swansea’s win at Sunderland yesterday means Hull need to win to have a realistic chance of staying, while a draw will guarantee Palace play Premier League football next season.
Hull have the worst away record in the top division this season, registering just one win in 18 attempts, and have failed to score in seven of their last eight trips to London.
Not a great record, but Palace’s is hardly better. The home team have lost all three home clashes with teams that started the day in the relegation zone, and have failed to score in their last three games.
Such dreadful scoring stats would tend to suggest a goalless draw, but caution tends to fly out of the window at this stage of the season. With Hull needing to win, we at Lap of the Odds HQ are going to take a punt on Harry Maguire in the anytime goalscorer market.
The big central defender has scored twice for Hull in the last six games, and is the sort of player to be pushed up front to lead the line if the situation dictates.
He is top priced at 22/1 with Paddy Power, and that’s quite a jump from the 8/1 widely on offer elsewhere.
Recommendation: Maguire to score at any time during the game at 22/1, Paddy Power
