Liverpool travel to The London Stadium this afternoon to face West Ham, desperately searching for points to clinch a Champions League place for next season.
However, they won’t find it easy. The last time the Hammers played at home they derailed Tottenham’s title challenge, and will feel confident of doing something similar to the Reds.
West Ham have won their last three home games against Liverpool and are unbeaten in their last five in all competitions. In fact, the away side have only kept one clean sheet in their last 10 visits to West Ham.
That said, Liverpool have won their last three away fixtures in the league, and have a very good record playing in London this season.
We at Lap of the Odds HQ think Liverpool may benefit from the open spaces the home team could afford as they attack, and could win the game. Both defences look suspect though, so will take a punt on the Reds winning with both teams scoring.
Recommendation: Liverpool to win with both teams scoring at 13/5, Paddy Power
