Sunday’s big game in the Premier League sees Manchester United travel to London to take on Tottenham, in what will be the last game at White Hart Lane in its present form.
While it’s true Spurs no longer have a league position to play for, they are safe in second position, they will be keen to say goodbye to their old ground with a vibrant performance. They also have the opportunity to go unbeaten at home for the first time since the mid ’60s.
United, on the other hand, have very little to play for as far as the league is concerned. They are very unlikely to get fourth given both Liverpool and Arsenal are ahead, and so will concentrate on the Europa League final.
Three of United’s four defeats this season have come on a Sunday after a game in Europe, and we at Lap of the Odds HQ think this will happen again. United have had difficulty scoring away from home against the top sides, and are likely to struggle again against Tottenham’s tight defence.
Recommendation: Tottenham to win and under 2.5 goals scored at 3/1, bet365
