The Premier League season ends today, and we at Lap of the Odds are striving to suggest a nice bet to end the campaign.
First up is Burnley to beat West Ham. The Clarets have achieved their preseason aim of staying in the Premier League, basing this success on strong form at home. The Hammers, on the other hand, have disappointed, hampered by a lengthy injury list. It’s true they halted Tottenham’s title challenge, but were then abject against Liverpool.
Next we expect Leicester to beat Bournemouth. The Foxes had a difficult start to the defence of their Premier League title, resulting in the departure of manager Claudio Ranieri. However, their form since then has been impressive. Bournemouth have achieved wonders this season in staying up, but may find it tricky to hold home the free-scoring home team at the King Power Stadium.
Finally, we think Swansea will beat West Brom at the Liberty Stadium. The home team have had a tricky season, but secured their safety last week with victory over Sunderland. The Swans have taken 10 points from their last 12, and have lost only one of their last seven home league games. West Brom, on the other hand, are already in their holidays, winning just one game in their last 11 in the league.
Recommendation: Burnley, Leicester and Swansea in a win treble at around 7/1
