Kerching ! We Realize a profit at Yarmouth

Our focus was on Yarmouth this afternoon.  First up was 25/1 longshot Esspeegee, and he ran well, looking like a possible contender inside the last quarter-mile, but ultimately just falling short of the each way money.

Better was to come though as we had entrusted saddle-ace Jamie Spencer to steer home Realize up the straight 7 furlongs.

Backers never had a moment of doubt as he was in great position throughout, and when pulled out to challenge he easily put daylight between himself and the field.

We had advised Realize at the early 10/3 in an evening post yesterday.  Subsequent withdrawals reduced that to 5/2, which was still a significant uplift on his well-backed SP of 11/8.

It has been a good spell on the horses, and there are some good looking meetings over the remainder of the week.

Stay tuned.
