The blog takes on London bus-like qualities for subscribers. You could argue that means half the time you’re not sure where its going, you’re not sure the driver knows where its going, and you’re not sure whether to just jump off whilst its still moving…
But for those patient enough to wait for the winners, as per legend, along they all come at once.
After Saturday’s big hit, today was the turn of in-form sprinter Tarboosh to further boost the coffers. Advised at 13/2 (and available at 7/1 in places), (“Monday Races: Tar can star…”), he was backed in to 9/2, and the Ripon sprint went precisely to plan.
Jockey Paul Mulrennan was able to tuck the smooth travelling Tarboosh in a pocket behind the pace, before unleashing his useful turn of foot late on. This horse never wins by far, but he has a winning combination of tactical tools, and he may not have stopped just yet.
Here’s hoping we won’t have stopped just yet either, with a promising Autumn programme ahead.
