Premier League: Kante at a canter…

The first Premier League clash of the day sees the reigning champion Chelsea host London rival Arsenal.

The Blues start the match as clear favourites. They have really started to play since losing their opening fixture against Burnley, while the Gunners suffered a humiliating 4-0 defeat at Anfield on their last away day.

And Arsenal’s record at Stamford Bridge doesn’t make pretty reading. It’s six years since they avoided defeat there, conceding 15 goals and scoring only two in the process.

We at Lap of the Odds HQ can see only one victor, and the question is how to play the likely Chelsea win. We think this is the opportunity for the match commentators to point out one of the glaring differences between the two sides, the superb work of an outstanding midfield holding player. Step forward Ngolo Kante. We will take a punt on him being awarded man of the match.

Recommendation: Kante to win man of the match at 12/1, 1 pt, Paddy Power
