Premier League: Kola Kola, the real thing…

Arsenal host West Brom tonight in the final match of this Premier League round, seeking a win that will lift them back into elite company.

And all the signs point towards the hosts gaining the three points. Arsenal have won six successive Premier League home games against the Baggies, conceding just one goal in the process, and are in a run of seven home wins in  row. West Brom, by contrast, haven’t won their last three league games.

However, that doesn’t mean the visitors are going to make it easy. As Arsene Wenger pointed out in his press conference, West Brom are strong at set pieces, organised defensively, and thus difficult to score against.

Now it’s true Arsenal have a number of players that can open up a defence, but it may be difficult to mark Sead Kolasinac, a marauding wing back. Strong in the air, the burly Bosnian can cause many problems for the West Brom defence.

Quoted at 33/1 by William Hill to be man of the match, we at Lap of the Odds think this offers value.

Recommendation: Kolasinac to be man of the match at 33/1, 1 pt, William Hill
