Tuesday Races: Two-timers can woo Beverley

We are always a fan of striking whilst the iron is hot, and today’s action at Beverley gives us the chance to support two horses looking to repeat efforts from within the last week.

Rose Eclair kicks us off in the 7f handicap (1515 BST).  She made all last week at Redcar for an easy win and races off the same mark here.

Whilst that makes it seem easy, she has yet to race at this idiosyncratic course, over such a stiff 7f, and has a wide draw to contend with.  All that being said, that may be why she remains a backable price.

A filly in form at this time of the year is well worth following and she can shrug off the doubts.

Just over an hour later (1625), Mr Cool Cash will be looking to repeat last week’s effort when a good runner up at Pontefract.  He had the rest well strung out behind that day and was unlucky to run into a decent improver.

That was class 4, and he now drops back to class 5 where he is unlikely to find a similar challenger and a repeat of that last run should be enough.

In the triumph of optimism over repeated experience, we’ll go for the double.

Recommendation:  Rose Eclair (1515 Beverley) & Mr Cool Cash (1625 Beverley), 1pt win double, approx 11/1 generally available
