Champions League: United and Chelsea to take spoils

Tonight see another round of Champions League fixtures, with Manchester United and Chelsea flying the flag for the Premier League.

United travel to Russia to take on CSKA Moscow, a team they have yet to lose to in four previous meetings.

Still, it won’t be easy. The Red Devils are missing some key players through injury, including Pogba and Fellaini, while CSKA showed some ability in winning their first group game in Portugal against Benfica.

Not easy also sums up Chelsea’s task as they face Atletico Madrid in the Spanish capital.

Under current coach Diego Simeone, Atletico have won 18 of 23 home games in the Champions League. They are also undefeated in four games (home and away) against the Blues in this tournament. Chelsea do have a reasonable record against Spanish sides, but this is tricky.

Still, both English sides are playing well and we will take the chance that they both deliver the goods.

Recommendation: Manchester United and Chelsea both to win at approximately 5/1, Paddy Power
