The big game of the day in the Premier League sees third placed Chelsea host league leader Manchester City.
This game is tricky to call. City are flying high and are scoring for fun, having become the first side to score five or more in three consecutive top-flight games since 1958. However, injury to Sergio Aguero is a big blow, while Vincent Kompany’s continued absence weakens their defence.
Chelsea, by contrast, can fully welcome Eden Hazard back from injury while Pedro is likely to play after being rested midweek.
And it’s that win at Atletico Madrid on Wednesday that tips the balance. That was one of the best recent results by an English team in Europe, and we at Lap of the Odds HQ think it will fill the Blues with confidence.
In Alvaro Morata the home team have a striker in top form, six goals in his first six Premier League appearances. We look for Chelsea to fly out of the blocks, and take a punt that Morata scores early.
Recommendation: Morata to score within first 15 mins at 16/1, 1 pt, Paddy Power
