World Cup Qualifiers: Looking for goals…

Anyone who sat through England’s turgid display on Thursday must have wondered what the fuss surrounding football was all about.

True, subscribers to Lap of the Odds did pick up some cash with Harry Kane’s late winner, (World Cup Qualifier: England to win in time). But there must be more to this game that has become the main global sport.

Well, hopefully there are some teams playing tonight that can put on more attractive, attacking displays.

Step forward the Netherlands, France and Portugal. These footballing giants face the relative minnows of Belarus, Bulgaria and  Andorra respectively tonight. Expect goals a plenty.

Paddy Power offers 4/1 that the three favourites score at least 13 goals between them tonight, and we will have a little cash on that.

Additionally, Paddy Power also offers 8/5 that Belgium and France score at least two goals each tonight. Belgium may have a couple of strikers missing, but the quality of their squad should enable the goals to still flow against a Bosnia & Herzegovina side they have already beaten 4-0 this campaign.

Netherlands, France and Portugal to score at least 13 combined, 1 pt, at 4/1, Paddy Power

Belgium and France to score at least two goals each, 1 pt, at 8/5, Paddy Power
