We could be forgiven today for focusing on the debut run of our own horse The Go Tou Man at Worcester – very immature (much like his owners) but promising in second.
However, we couldn’t let old favourite Buonarroti go unbacked at Ayr (Thursday Races: Heads at Ayr, Hearts at Worcester).
It was only the unproven extra distance that has us reign back to a one point bet, and although he was running on fumes by the finish, it was after cruising past the field on his beloved quagmire conditions.
An easy win for the horse, and a nice win for subscribers at an advised 6/1 (SP 11/2), following on from yesterday’s 5/2 success.
Coffers well and truly filled in advance of Saturday’s forthcoming monster bet….
