Premier League: Hammers to edge tight game

Tonight sees West Ham host Brighton as the Premier League weekend starts early.

The pressure has eased slightly on the Hammers after their feeble start to the set, with Slaven Bilic’s men picking up eight points from their last five games.

And Bilic will be very keen to pick up another three points as his team faces a side who are yet to win a game away from home this season, scoring only one goal in the process.

West Ham have won both of their previous Friday home Premier League games 1-0, and have kept clean sheets in five of their last seven top-flight home matches.

Seven of West Ham’s nine league wins at the London Stadium have been by the 1-0 score line, and we at Lap of the Odds see no reason to buck this trend.

Recommendation: West Ham to win 1-0, 1 pt, at 11/2, William Hill
