European Golf: Enjoying Swede in Turkey

The European golfing tour heads to Turkey on Thursday, with the Regnum Carya Golf & Spa Resort hosting the Turkish Airlines Open.

This heathland inspired course measures over 7100 yards, with a tactical approach more important than length off the tee. The greens are large, undulating and fast, suggesting being a good putter is important.

Our first selection is near the top of the market РHenrik Stenson. The Swede played very well last weekend, finishing second in the WGC event in China. He also  seems to love this event, having never finished worse than seventh in Turkey.

Our second selection is a little bit of a punt. Over the last couple of years Victor Dubuisson has shown very little of the form that got him into Europe’s 2014 Ryder Cup team. However, he placed third at the Dunhill Links three weeks ago, the last time he teed it up, and has a fantastic record in this part of the world – he has won twice in his four starts at this event.

Stenson to win, 1 pt, at 8/1, widely available

Dubuisson 0.5 pts each way at 50/1, 1/5 the odds for first six places, widely available
