International Friendly: Germany to silence Wembley

England host Germany tonight in a friendly international, or as close to one as these sides can ever get.

A look at the overall stats suggests a close game, with this being the 32nd meeting and both nations winning 13 games. That said, Germany have won the last three games at Wembley.

Both teams are missing first choice players, but given Germany were able to win this year’s Confederations Cup with largely a reserve team you have to feel they have by far the greater strength in depth.

Given this, even money on an away win looks value, but we’ll take the 3/1 that Germany win with both teams scoring,

Recommendation: Germany to win with  both teams scoring, 1 pt, at 3/1, Paddy Power
