The jumps season is really hitting its stride now ahead of Saturday’s big Cheltenham meeting.
We’re hoping to have a lovely time the day we turned to Bangor.
The North Wales course featutes a great staying chase. The market is headed by a horse we know well.
We tipped Potters Legend each way st the Cheltenham Festival and collected when he was able to shrug off a poor jumping round by staying on well to finish an excellent 4th.
He filled the same spot at Aintree. Those runs are more than good enough to win this event, and a promising reappearance should have him cherry ripe.
.The opener down at Exeter feature a rematch between recent winner Midnight Request, and third that day Forgetthesmalltalk
A small turn in the weights will help Forgetthesmalltalk, but more importantly trainer Alan King rarely has his horses fully wound up first time.
He will have improved for that run, and a 5yo in staying Hurdle events always interests us.
Recommendation: Forgetthesmalltalk (1250 Exeter) & Potters Legend (1345 Bangor, 1pt win doube. approx 21/1
