Kerching !! 13/2 Magic start to Cheltenham…

Blog followers got off to a very nice start on Cheltenham’s opening day of the November meeting. (“Cheltenham Friday: Country Gent to fly“)

We were arguably unlucky with fast finishing Sugar Baron (9/1) when runner up in the opener, although a mulish display until 3 out was luck of his own making.

Exitas (3/1) didn’t jump with his Ascot fluency when a close third, whilst bet of the day Urgent De Gregaine (5/1) ran like a winner almost all the way in the cross country but was outpaced in third at the end like a horse needing a bit more cut in the ground.

However Magic Dancer (13/2) stormed home to give us a great win in the second race (his second win in a week).

In aggregate, our each way accumulator also paid at close to 16/1 for the place leg, ensuring total gains of close to 6pts on the day.

Stay tuned for the big Saturday advice.
