Yesterday’s horse racing tip, Clan Legend (“Wednesday Races: Clan’s the man…”) was based on the premise of a Hexham quagmire suiting this progressive mudlark.
Well blog followers had very few anxious moments as jockey Kit Alexander steered a wide route the whole way with his mount sluicing through the Northumberland mud.
It was quickly clear that the rest were in trouble long before the turn for home, after which it became unclear what the rest were doing as they laboured almost an entire hurdle behind.
Probably the easiest winner we will ever pick, and we gratefully accepted the general lack of market confidence that saw him drift to a tasty 9/2.
That win keeps us ahead of the game for November and today’s tip can be seen here.
