Well that was a much needed pre-Christmas cash boost.
Saturday’s horses hit the target (“Saturday Races: Fill Up On Gas“), landing a 21/1 double. It’s fair to say we have been waiting longer than 21 tries for the double to land, but it was still a welcome change in fortunes.
The well supported Blaklion landed leg one over the big Aintree fences, then Gas Line Boy landed the second leg again over the big fences.
The win singles juiced the returns and then it was Sunday racings time to add.
Our advised Sunday double (“Sunday Races: Top and John to prosper“) was stripped to a single by the abandonment of Huntingdon, but at least an amazing drift in the price of pick Sizing John out to 2/1 meant 4pts of profit from his simple success.
Stay tuned for more this side of Xmas….
