NFL: Cowboys to tame Raiders…

Finally some NFL betting success, after Saturday’s predictions came in. (NFL: Lions to tame Bears…)

And we’ll try and follow that up with another double today.

First up are the Carolina Panthers hosting the Green Bay Packers. The main talking point surrounding the game is the likely return of Packers’ star quarterback Aaron Rogers from injury.

Rogers is true quality, but we think it’s likely there will be a little rust to shake off. We expect the Panthers’ strong running game to allow them to cover the three point spread.

Next up, the Dallas Cowboys travel west to take on the Oakland Raiders.

At the start of the season this was seen as a key game in shaping the playoffs as both teams had very good 2016 seasons. Less so today, with both sides struggling to make the playoffs.

However, while still missing key running back Ezekiel Elliott, it’s the Cowboys that are now showing some form, winning their last two and scoring over 60 points in the process.

It’s true the Raiders have won two out of their last three, but they were well beaten by the Chiefs last time out, and we take the Cowboys to cover the three point spread.

Recommendation: Panthers and Cowboys to cover spreads as a double, 1 pt, at 3/1, Paddy Power
