The Premier League returns after the break for the FA Cup, and it’s the evening fixture that interests us.
Tottenham host Everton in Saturday’s late game, keen to make a push into the top four. Spurs have suffered something of a midseason wobble which puts them four points behind Liverpool in the race for the all important fourth position in the Premier League. They will be very keen to close that gap.
Everton have tightened up since the appointment of Sam Allardyce as manager, but the Toffees have now lost three games in a row after last week’s heartbreaking FA Cup defeat to Merseyside rivals Liverpool. We think they will lose another today.
Spurs have 24 victories over Everton in the Premier League, more than any other club, while star striker Harry Kane has scored twice in his last two league fixtures against today’s opponent. William Hill offers a boosted 7/2 that he scores at least two again, and we’ll be taking that.
