Sunday’s Premier League highlight sees runaway league leaders Manchester City travel to Anfield to take on Liverpool.
City have been brilliant this season, but this will be one of their harder tests if they want to stay undefeated. They beat Liverpool 5-0 in the reverse fixture earlier this season, but the Reds showed enough in the period before they were reduced to ten men to show they can cause the visitors trouble.
Sure Liverpool will miss Brazilian star Coutinho, but they have stiffened a creaky defence with the addition of Virgil van Dijk and they welcome back top scorer Mohamed Salah from injury.
City have a poor record at Anfield – just one win since 1981 – and we think this will continue Sunday. We take the home team to win a thriller, with both sides scoring.
Recommendation: Liverpool to win, with both teams scoring, 1 pt, at 7/2, Paddy Power
