This evening’s big clash in the Premier League sees Manchester United travel south to Wembley to take on Tottenham.
While not a title clash–Manchester City are too far ahead for that to be the case–this game is clearly important for Champions League spots.
Liverpool’s victory last night means Spurs are now five points away from fourth place, a gap they need to close quickly. United, on the other hand, are eight points clear of Spurs and will be keen to not allow a Champions League contender to gain ground on them.
Expect United to play it tight and try to hurt Spurs on the break, as they did to Arsenal late last year. However, Spurs are a better side defensively, and the likely return of Christian Eriksen should result in more ammunition for star striker Harry Kane.
Kane has scored in 11 games this season from 23 games, roughly a 11/10 shot to score at anytime in the game. But he has amazingly got a brace or more on 8 of those 11 occasions – i.e. when he scores it’s about 1/4 he’ll score another!
We’ll take the 5/1 on offer Harry nets at least two goals tonight.
Recommendation: Kane to score at least two goals, 1 pt, at 5/1, SkyBet
