European 10th tee: Great Dane to be the big dog…

The first three rounds and stroke play phase of the ISPS Handa World Super 6 Perth are now over, and now comes the match play phase.

The top eight players from the stroke play,  headed by Thailand’s Prom Meesawat (unfortunately the wrong burly Thai for us – European Golf: No pressure Aphibarnrat!), now receive a first round bye in the six hole, knockout format.

Our pick to win the tournament now is  Thunder Bear himself, Thorbjorn Olesen. The Dane won in Perth in 2014 and is looking for his third win in Australia in four years. He qualified for the knockout phase in tied second, so has the early bye, and won a similar tournament for his country in Europe last year.

Recommendation: Olesen to win, 1 pt, at 13/2, Stan James/William Hill
