The big game in the Premier League on Sunday sees Liverpool travel to the south coast to take on Southampton.
There should be plenty of feeling between these two sides, given the number of ex Southampton players in the Liverpool team – Virgil van Dijk being the latest to make the move north.
Liverpool should win this game, they won the reverse fixture 3-0, but a record of just one win in four (admittedly that win was against Manchester City) is worrying. Also, Southampton have a solid home record against the Reds, so we’ll steer clear of predicting a result.
Instead, Liverpool have scored a league high of 32 goals away from home, with new recruit Mo Salah the man of the moment. He has scored 21 league goals this season, including netting a brace on five occasions. Having played 25 league games, the odds of scoring twice should be around 4/1, yet SkyBet offers 7/1. We’ll have some of that.
Recommendation: Salah to score a double, 1 pt, at 7/1, SkyBet
