We are delighted to be hosting an inaugural Cheltenham Festival Handicaps Preview night on Monday March 5th.

The venue is the upstairs bar at Doheny & Nesbitt’s on Lower Baggott St, Dublin.

The panel consists of Peter Nurse of Lapoftheodds in the chair, and the views of Daniel Watkins of Lapoftheodds and the annual Cheltenham Festival Guide, and Michael Greaney “The Fly” (@MichealGreaney3), one of the leading Irish Twitter voices on all matters racing and in particular Willie Mullins, with views from the room encouraged.

Sure you can hear Ruby or Pricewise at other events tell you what you know already about the Gold Cup – our focus will be the races they leave out – the handicaps!!

They are just €10, with finger food, quiz draw, and endless discussion on the Pertemps Final assured. Proceeds to the Irish Injured Jockeys.

Obviously this night is frankly unmissable and an essential part of your festival build-up, but in the event that you simply cannot be there in person (e.g. birth of first child…second child, maybe not so much…), fear not, you do not have to miss out, stay tuned as we will be providing details of how to engage on-line and through social media, so there should be opportunity to absorb the pearls of wisdom.  (We are in an Irish bar, by the time we reach the Grand Annual we may have absorbed a few pearls, and wisdom may have been significantly over-taken by liquid confidence…)
