Premier League: Supply Sane

There are two Premier League matches scheduled today, with the late game–Manchester City versus Chelsea–the highlight.

This clash sees the Premier League’s defending champions travel to the heir apparent, with the two clubs seemingly moving in different directions.

City have had a potentially tiring week – a Cup final followed by a trip to the Emirates in the league. However, they won matches with ease and show no signs of stopping.

Chelsea are lacking confidence at the moment, having lost three of their last four league games. They need the points in the battle for Champions League qualification given Liverpool and Spurs won again yesterday, but it’s difficult to see how they get any today.

We don’t see City slowing down, and look to their German midfielder Leroy Sane to continue his stunning form of Thursday and score today.

The second match sees Arsenal travel south to Brighton.

The Gunners have had a dreadful week, dismissed comfortably by Manchester City in both a Cup final and a league game. They will be looking to bounce back from the associated criticism, but don’t have a great record away from home, in fact they have lost their last three.

We think Brighton will give this Arsenal side lacking confidence all the trouble they could wish for.

We look for a penalty to be awarded and scored. We have a fragile Arsenal defence, but they also have tricky strikers to cause the Brighton defenders problems.

Man City/Chelsea: Sane to score at anytime, 1 pt, at 12/5, Paddy Power

Brighton/Arsenal: Penalty to be scored, 1 pt, at 7/2, Betfair
