Stuffed full of the delights of the Cheltenham feast, we look to squeeze in a little petit four….
The Daily Yankee:
Big River, (1420, 2/1: Useful novice chaser who was aiming high when entered in the Midlands National. Takes on shallower waters here and could look like American who made all to win this last year en route to the top.
Azzerti, (1430 Kempton), 11/2: Showed his liking for a flat right handed track when flying home at Huntingdon. Whilst up in the weights, the front two were well clear and the second won a big handicap last weekend.
Brandon Hill, (1510 Kempton), 11/2: Has been boldly setting the pace over 3 miles, last time getting collared late on here with the rest well beaten. Step down in trip could help, and the handicapper could have been harsher.
Back To The Thatch, (1535 Uttoxeter), 6/1: Our nap of the day in the Midlands National. The youngest horse in the race and the most promising, was still in second gear when falling at Newcastle and can set the record straight here.
