Monday Yankee: Have a dash at Huntingdon

After a burst of flat turf action it’s back to an all jumps affair for Monday.

The Daily Yankee:

Eskendash, (1535 Huntingdon), 9/2:  A speed horse with a flat pedigree he has struggled to get home over jumps.  That hasn’t stopped him record an excellent 3rd in a novice here, and then the same on handicap debut at Donny.  Had been kept fresh since waiting for better ground, and this sharp flat track could suit ideally.

Hear The Chimes, (1515 Market Rasen) 5/1:  Another who has been waiting for the ground to improve.  Ran pretty well for a long while last time and has decent course form in his past.  The booking of Sam Twiston-Davies is eye catching and he looks ready to improve.

Must Havea Flutter, (1620 Market Rasen), 11/10:  Couldn’t deal with another improver when runner up at Huntingdon last time a few days after recording an easy win here.  Higher in the weights again but the return here and the claim of an on-fire Bridget Andrews should see him win again.

Theatrical Star, (1630 Taunton), 5/1:  A marathon trip which will be an unknown for a number of these.  Not so for Theatrical Star who was a good second over this course and distance two weeks ago, the winner subsequently running away with the Midlands National.  Champion Richard Johnson does the steering.
