Friday Nap: El of a way to start…

The best of the Good Friday cards comes with Lingfield’s big card that signals the all weather championship finals.

Some great levels weights racing, but we look to the opening apprentice handicap for our nap.

This 7f handicap (1330) promises to be run at a crazy gallop and that could set it up for the flying finish of Eljaddaaf.

Dean Ivory’s 7yo flew home to win here last time and loves to pass horses late on.  Jockey Jack Duern is one of the most experienced here and he can drop this fella in behind early on and then come fast wide and late in hope of picking up the pieces if the pace is too fast.

Market leader Wahash won well here recently on his first run for 8 months.  He has to follow that up, and as a miler may be tempted too close to the early pace.

Silent Echo was behind Eljaddaaf here last time.  That may have been unlucky and there could be room to improve, but from stall 2 he is likely to be relying on luck again.

Master Speaker is a monstrous 15lbs up for an easy win over 6f last time.  Asking him to defy that rise over a new trip in a new country looks too much too ask.

Recommendation: Eljaddaaf, (1330 Lingfield), 1pt win, 11/2 generally available
