Premier League: Pierre to punish Potters…

There are a couple of Premier League games to focus upon today, with Stoke‘s visit to Arsenal the early game.

The Gunners have run into some form after a dodgy spell, and now face a side that they have beaten at home on the last 15 occasions in all competitions.

Arsenal have had their difficulties away from home and against the better sides this season, but their record against teams below them at home has been good.

We expect the Gunners to beat the Potters going away, and look for recent striking recruit Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to add to his two game scoring streak with a brace.

The second game is the day’s highlight, with Tottenham trying to reverse almost 30 years of hurt with victory at Chelsea.

The Blues are unbeaten at home in this fixture in all competitions since February 1990, a total of 30 games.

That said, Chelsea haven’t been in the best of form, winning just two of their last six league games. And Tottenham are the only side unbeaten in the Premier League in 2018.

We’re unsure how this match will pan out, but Spurs are likely to be without their talisman Harry Kane. With this in mind we’ll side with Chelsea’s midfielder Willian to be man of the match. The Brazilian has scored 13 goals this season in all competitions, his best return in a single season for Chelsea.

Recommendations:

Arsenal/Stoke: Aubameyang to score two goals, 1 pt, at 7/2, BetFred

Chelsea/Tottenham: Willian to win man of the match, 1 pt, at 9/2, Paddy Power
