Europa League: Arsenal to survive defeat

Thursday evening sees the second legs of the Europa League quarterfinals, with Arsenal traveling to CSKA Moscow carrying a 4-1 lead.

The Gunners proved much too strong for their Russian opponents in the first leg, but as Roma showed against Barcelona earlier in the week the return leg can often be different.

And it’s Arsenal which has best illustrated the almost schizophrenic nature of home and away form in the Premier League this season. The Gunners have won 13 out of 17 home games, losing just two, but have lost eight out of 15 away matches, winning just three.

We at Lap of the Odds think Arsenal will still go through, but will take the 15/4 that CSKA win tonight’s match with both teams scoring.

Recommendation: CSKA to win tonight with both teams scoring, 1 pt, at 15/4, bet365
