Tonight’s Premier League clash sees Tottenham travel to the coast to take on Brighton.
Tottenham’s 14-game unbeaten run came to an end on Saturday against Manchester City, but they will be keen to start winning again with the race for Champions League places still ongoing.
That said, they have a FA Cup semifinal against Manchester United on the weekend to plan for, and could rest some players.
Brighton will also been keen on winning league points. They are currently seven points above the relegation zone, but their last five fixtures are all against teams in the top seven.
However, Brighton have lost their last three games against Spurs and have conceded in their last 12 league games.
Thus the signs point to an away victory. It’s tempting to side with Harry Kane to win man of the match, given he is chasing the Golden Boot and has this added incentive to score. But instead we’re going to take a chance with Lucas Moura. The Brazilian winger looked lively when he came on as a late substitute on Saturday and will be keen to impress again tonight given the rare start.
Recommendation: Moura to be named man of the match, 1 pt, at 8/1, William Hill
