Kerching!!: 6/1 Thomas is our last action hero…

It doesn’t matter when it arrives, we’ll take it!

Subscribers had to wait until time was almost up in the late World Cup match last night before they were able to celebrate.

We had suggested yesterday that Belgian wingback Thomas Meunier was a great price at 6/1 to provide an assist during his country’s clash with Japan. (World Cup: Looking for Silva linings…)

And sure enough Meunier found himself in promising crossing positions time and time again, only for colleagues to spoil the fun with hapless finishing. But in the last minute of injury time, with the game on the line, he provided the telling cross for Nacer Chadli to slot into a virtually empty net. Phew!!

Add in another nap winner in the horse racing, the fourth in the last five, as Cross My Mind (5/2) got up on the line at Windsor (Monday Yankee: Cross purpose…), and subscribers must be enjoying July.

Stay tuned for more suggestions as the World Cup and the horse racing season continue and ahead of the Tour de France.
