Thursday Yankee: The wonder of Mu…

The Daily Yankee:

NAP OF THE DAY:   Muatadel, (1745 Doncaster), 1pt win, 3/1 generally available

A regular on this blog last year when super consistent, we have left him alone this season as his consistency has been all bad.  But now the planets align.  The first uptick in form when a useful 5th last time.  A rating that has dropped back to previous winning levels, and most importantly Doncaster.  He loves it here with course form of 1-1-3 off ratings of 70, 68 and 78 respectively.  Off 70 here, he must have a huge chance.

Rollicking, (1855 Doncaster), 4/1: This fillies nursery looks wide open on first glance.  However, the Hannon trainer Rollicking has been a steady improver in maiden races, and her last run at Newmarket is already working out well.  She can improve past a few fillies who may already have run their best races.

Sha La La La Lee (1905 Epsom) 7/2:  a few worth taking on including course specialist Highland Acclaim whose fading 3rd of 6 here two runs ago was his only top four placing in 11 career 7f efforts.  It may be worth taking on the veterans with youngster Sha La La La Lee.  He has been in good form and could have this run to suit with plenty of early pace.

Sister Celine, (2105 Doncaster), 9/4:  gave us a real fright when almost wearing down our nap Cross My Mind at Windsor recently.  That was a big step up on handicap debut and the penny just took a while to drop.  This course should suit better, and she looks a worthy favourite to go one better.
