The Daily Yankee:
NAP OF THE DAY: Travel Lightly, (1700 Nottingham), 1pt win, 9/4 generally available
A lightly raced 3yo she was having her second handicap run and a first in blinkers when blitzing her field at Ayr last week. That was an apprentice race and she escapes the 9lb rise that’s due by reappearing so soon.
Kannapolis, (1410 Haydock), 6/4: Another impressive 3yo handicap winner. This one ground it out in impressive fashion last time. A 9lb weight hike looks punitive, but he is entitled to be improving fast and it may not be enough to stop him here.
Classic Seniority, (1920 Hamilton), 8/1: won this race last year off a 3lb higher mark. Has been struggling for form but signposted a return to his best when a decent third at Doncaster.
Move In Time, (1935 Pontefract), 3/1: we were all over this veteran in Ireland last time only for him to run poorly. He remains worth a chance off his current rating and this turning track could help him return to the flying form he had found before that Irish run.
