Sunday Yankee: Cool runnings?

The Daily Yankee

NAP OF THE DAY:  Kellyiscool, (1415 Galway), 1pt win , 4/1 generally available

He might well have won here earlier in the week when losing out by a fast diminishing neck.  This looks a fine chance for some swift compensation, with a 4lb rise offset by the riders weight claim.

Dream Walker, (1555 Galway), 6/1:  winner of this race for the last two years, he ran his usual warm up in the big mile race here earlier in the week.  Was very unlucky not to do better there, but historically this race has always suited best and he is well drawn for the hat trick bid.  Bond Street is the big danger albeit not very well served by the draw.

Blast Of Koeman, (1700 Galway), 7/1:  This chaser has endured a frustrating season placing in a series of the top handicaps.  Most recently he was unlucky not to win a major race at Punchestown.  This trip should suit and he can surprise the Mullins favourite

Maze Runner, (1730 Galway) 4/1:  Another to have run here this week when staying on into a distant fourth in a race not run to suit.  This should be a more fitting test, and with any decent early pace then Maze Runner can add to the packed Mullins scorecard.
