The Daily Yankee:
NAP OF THE DAY: Stormin Tom, (1510 Catterick), 1pt win, 11/2 generally available
He has been very consistent of late mostly at the longer 2 mile trip. One of many who like to lead here, hopefully jockey Rachel Richardson will take the opportunity to track a strong pace and set sail with a long run for home.
Pearl Noir, (1435 Catterick), 7/2: we’ll give this veteran one more Catterick chance after four career defeats here. The track should suit his all-the-way tactics, and provided he wins the early skirmishes with Kinloch Pride then he can last home under regular claimer Ladd.
Extrasolar, (1540 Catterick), 7/2: has looked in form particularly at this track. Was disqualified here and then looked desperately unlucky here over 7f two runs ago. Is owed a course win and this race may not take much winning.
Chaplin Bay, (1615 Catterick), 10/1: has often struggled on turf but form here of 455 isn’t his worst. He was a little unlucky with that last course run, and stable jockey Sulllivan prefers him over the dangerously well handicapped Zebulon. Could cause an upset.
