NAP OF THE DAY: Give It Some Teddy, (1635 Ripon), 1pt win, 11/2 generally available on
This 4yo has been in great form all season and still looked competitive in a good race at Hamilton last time when only beaten by two progressive 3yos. No youngsters in the lineup today, and Teddy can land another decent prize.
Mulligatawny, (1605 Ripon), 9/2: Roger Fell’s handicapper has been busy but mostly poor this season. He has now though slipped back to a juicy mark of 77, a full 10lbs below his winning mark here last year. He made all that day, and De Sousa from stall 3 looks tailor made to repeat that effort.
Lady In Question, (1620 Epsom), 11/2: won a class 4 event on soft earlier in the year and has run respectably in higher grade at York and Goodwood since. Can front run, and should enjoy conditions, and can make the long journey down from Yorkshire pay off.
Fresh Terms, (1650 Epsom), 9/4: This filly delivered on some promise when making all at Chepstow last time. That narrow win over today’s rival Camomile Lawn suggests a close contest, but Fresh Terms looks more on the up, and could go well on this ground and again if unleashed on the front of the race.
